Yes, I said the above. Bot how does thatform ANYONE of where they rank in form of "concerns"??? That may as well be concern number 6 for all I know.
There is NO other country, besides Russia, that Germany would worry about militarily in Europe. Maybe possibly China. Other then that, I am sure Germany can more then handle their own in a fight.
They aren't that afraid of Russia. Now you say you didn't say that?
The rest of your post is incoherent. The Finn thing was a joke not addressed to you.
NATO is a strategic defensive alliance. That's it.
Its a strategic defensive alliance to ward off attacks from mainly Russia. I can promise you that they are not concerned with Bolivia
Europe's concerns are not always going to coincide with ours.
Which is EXACTLY why the US needs to hold them to their 2% payments. Otherwise, a country like Germany can just pay whatever they want (as long as its increasing from year prior) and get away with it. If they know what our concerns are and our interest, then they can use that against us. For example, if I know you need potatoes and the only place you can get potatoes is through my back yard. We have an agreement that I keep my back yard clean. There is no real need for me to live up fully to my agreement because no matter what, you have to get your potatoes.
Same thing with Germany and their payment! They know the US strategically, needs to stay in NATO. Its not like the US will pull out whether Germany pays their fair share or otherwise.
Turkey and Greece (both NATO members) are concerns of theirs. As well as Libya and Syria which are of less concern to us by the minute.
Our concerns are different. More global and less regional.
Russia is OUR boogeyman. Unless you're Trump or a Trump supporter. Then they are or aren't depending on which way the wind blows... today though they are. And DAMMIT Europe we're not gonna protect you from them anymore!
|
You must of grew up watching to many Monster Inc movies lol
I don't consider any country our boogey man unless warranted. No that stance may or may not change depending on where they are going or not going. Meaning that, todays opinion may change depending on developments. For example, ten years ago, I didn't see N Korea anywhere near the threat they pose today. I don't see Russia anywhere near the threat as they were say prior to Reagan. But looking back, I believe a lot of that was Media driven as well.
Hope that cleared things up for you since you mentioned "Coherent"

As posted in another thread.
Trump travels to NATO.
Insults allies
Accomplishes nothing.
Stamps #MAGA on it and moves on.
Its just like all of the other issues involving foreign leaders. The guy if he wanted to could actually get some concessions from other countries but honestly nobody has any goddamn idea what he really wants.

Here's what I expect from Trump, and I'm never disappointed.
Blame placed on one or more of the following for every setback to his MAGA program:
1. Immigrants (but not Melania).
2. The Media (but not Fox).
3. His former lawyers/aides/cabinet appointees/advisors (whether in jail yet or
not).
4. Obama.
5. The Dims.

Trump out did himself on this one.
He blames Obama for not doing more to find out what Russia was doing!!!
After over a year and a half claiming the investigation was a witch hunt, he is blaming Obama...
why did he ever give up on the birther issue (or has he)
LETS GET JOHN KASICH ON THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL TICKET

Gross. Trump is doing a great job. Kasich has almost no chance to win if he was nominated.

0bama talked about it when it happened - and HE was in the WH at the time.
He did nothing because he thought HILLARY would be helped.
Trump is right to point a finger at the miserable excuse of a POTUS for doing NOTHING about it at the time.
btw, TRUMP, being a candidate and not a POTUS could NOT do anything about it.
Reality bites.

Your comment is absurd!
The "witch hunt" is still ongoing. It is Trump himself that is still being hunted. These meaningless Russian indictments are just incidental to the real purpose of the still ongoing investigation.
Why weren't the Russians hunted way back, when Romney warned everybody about them? During his presidency, Obama knew about the hacking; yet, he and all of the security agencies in this country chose to do nothing about it...UNTIL. It wasn't until the Demos needed a CRUTCH that the investigation took legs.
THE FARCICAL 'TRUMP' WITCH HUNT CONTINUES...OPEN YOUR EYES!
