Well, by golly!
Russian lawmaker demands return of Alaska, California fort and reparations amid US-led sanctions
Quote:
A Russian lawmaker made an outlandish demand over the weekend that the United States return Alaska and a historic settlement in California, in addition to paying reparations to Russia over crippling American-led sanctions that have put Moscow's economy in a tailspin.
Oleg Matveychev, a member of the state Duma, outlined on Russian state television a set of demands for the U.S. and Ukraine after Kiv's "demilitarization is completed," the Express newspaper in the United Kingdom reported.
The demands include the return of Alaska, which the U.S. purchased from the Russian Empire in 1867 as part of the Alaska Purchase, and the former Russian settlement of Fort Ross, California, 90miles north of San Francisco.

According to Lavrov and Ukrainian delegation this conflict may be starting to wind down.
Very very early stages but a return to the near status quo deems to be where they're circling.
Either way what a hilarious blow to Russian prestige. It's Tsushima for the 21st Century.

- But emails and correspondence obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter's abandoned laptop show the claims may well be true
- The emails show Hunter helped secure millions of dollars of funding for Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in research on pandemic-causing diseases
- He also introduced Metabiota to an allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma, for a 'science project' involving high biosecurity level labs in Ukraine
- The president's son and his colleagues invested $500,000 in Metabiota through their firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners
- They raised several million dollars of funding for the company from investment giants including Goldman Sachs

Nothing to see here...it's all Russian disinformation...
Quote:
Moscow’s claim that Hunter Biden helped finance a US military 'bioweapons' research program in Ukraine is at least partially true, according to new emails obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.
|
The Daily Mail is obviously a Russian propaganda outlet and they should be thrown off the internet
It should be obvious to all that Hunter was doing God's work...trying to make Ukraine a better place...more integrated with the west and out of the sphere of Russian influence
He should be getting congressional medals...not this type of propaganda and scrutiny from rags like the Daily Mail.
How are they allowed to treat the son of the President of the United States this way?
I mean, he's the son of the President of the United States!
Doing this to the son of Joe Biden has to be criminal, right?

The Soviet military has been exposed.
The Biden Admin should offer every Russian soldier who gives up and turns themselves in to Ukraine authorities, citizenship in the U.S.

Interesting article from Newsweek...probably a hotbed of Russian disinfo...I think...maybe not...anyway, quoting anonymous Pentagon sources:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...why/ar-AAVnuAJ
Quote:
"I know that the news keeps repeating that Putin is targeting civilians, but there is no evidence that Russia is intentionally doing so," says the DIA analyst. "In fact, I'd say that Russian could be killing thousands more civilians if it wanted to."
"I'm no com-symp," the analyst says. "Russia is dead wrong, and Putin needs to be punished. But in terms of concluding the war in a way that both sides can accept and where we don't see Armageddon, the air and missile war provides positive signs."
Every war is unique and awful, and Ukraine is no different. But Russia's choice to modulate its destructiveness is an important counterintuitive element. Vladimir Putin can't easily win; he can't accept loss or retreat; and he can't escalate. He has to keep destruction and pressure at a very careful, just-bad-enough level to keep some advantage.
"I know it's thin consolation that it could be a lot worse," the DIA analyst says, "but to understand how that is the case should really change people's perspectives, even inside the U.S. government, as to how to end this."
|
Why does the legacy MSM keep pushing agendas meant to entice the USA into a deeper involvement in this war? The Washington Post is probably most guilty of this (thanks Jeff Bezos/Amazon). But the NYT and Wall Street Journal aren't far behind.

Here's another mind blower...did this get any sort of coverage?
https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news...41e63e606a62e4
Zelensky said the following during a recent CNN interview:
Quote:
"I requested them personally to say directly that we are going to accept you into NATO in a year or two or five, just say it directly and clearly, or just say no," Zelensky said. "And the response was very clear, you're not going to be a NATO member, but publicly, the doors will remain open," he said.
|
That's a pretty shocking statement. Anyone else agree?

15,000 Russians have been killed in Ukraine. At that rate that number will exceed the number of Americans killed in Viet Nam in another 70 days. Our involvement in Viet Nam lasted 10 years.

A blind man on day 1 could see that all roads eventually would lead to Putin's defeat. This whole war has gone just about as bad as it could for Putin. Military embarrassed. Economy in ruins. Restlessness in the streets of Moscow. Intelligence service not only weak on intel but in some cases there are indications that his own intelligence services are feeding info to the enemy. We have spies all over the Kremlin, and his friends are losing billions are we type. His only friend, China, is not really a friend.

I could see most of them becoming Republicans, just like hispanics from socialist utopias. If socialism was a utopia, why are so many running to capitalism and democracy?

I disagree a little Tuck....
We're looking at Russia , 2nd in world power, vs a corrupt little country in Ukraine...
with no strength in forces.....
I for sure didn't think it would have lasted this long....
So the question arises....
Why is this ?
Mike
