I think Tiger had visions of being the second coming of Ben Hogan.

It doesn’t look like that will happen.

I think he’ll do well on the senior tour

LOL - Tiger has 18 more wins and 6 more majors than Ben Hogan. It's not even a comparison.

Exactly.
Also, Hogan dominated in a much smaller world.

I didn't take TJDave's post as a comparison of Tiger's and Hogan's relative talent, but that Hogan had a terrible car accident and came back to play top-level golf.

Plantar fasciitis can be excruciating. A podiatrist made mine worse and then wanted to operate. I went to an actual orthopedic surgeon and she told me you don't operate for it and gave me stretching exercises she developed. The key is to stretch every morning before you get out of bed, before you put weight on it. After limping around for almost a year, it was gone in two weeks.

Cry me a river, the solo car accident that caused his condition was reckless driving while high, no sympathy from me. Glad he was the only one hurt.

I felt that way, too.

But after watching his world fall apart in pretty much every possible way, he just keeps on trying.

Some years back I decided to look at him from a different POV.

I'm not a huge Tiger Woods fan but it sounded like he fell asleep.

He'll continue his lavish, comfortable, lifestyle by
competing as a mere mortal on the Senior Tour.
Nothing wrong with that. Along with endorsements.

yes, it kind of does...now why? Maybe he passed out from something other than a lack of sleep...after all, this happened during the day, did it not?

It’s an obvious comparison if you know your golf history. Stop “LOL” you look like a fool.

Dave, great post. I never thought about it that way.

He was doing almost double the speed limit 85 in a 45, he fell asleep because he was loaded on pain killers, which he had been caught doing in the past.
The cops cut him some slack.

I get it that he had a history. It's just that when I was 19, I was driving home from work one day at 4:00 in the afternoon during rush hour on the expressway when I fell asleep and cut across two lanes of traffic. I woke up to blaring horns but by some miracle, never hit anyone. I had only gotten 2 hrs of sleep the night before because I had been driving most of the night. I had felt perfectly fine all day and had just gotten on the expressway. Scared the shit out of me and it never happened again.

I thought I had read that Tiger had insomnia but you are correct, it certainly could have been something other than a lack of sleep.
