I hate to be that guy, but this looks really bad.

They been doing this stuff for years, with little consequence. This one seems worse though.
With no action by many stewards to me this type of collusion and dangerous race riding is almost sanctioned by the tracks.

Riders like that deserve days - many days.
These two brothers remind me of the two brothers in Slap Shot.
Wonder if they have Tonka trucks in the jocks room.

Cant blame the riders if you ask me. Rubbing is racing if no one is going to do anything about it.
There were probably 3-4 fouls there....beyond the collusion aspect in a sport people are gambling on.

Wow!
I have never commented on these brothers because I don’t follow racing as I once did. But if that wasn’t obvious, I don’t know what is.......

Until someone ends up dead or crippled.
But likely to be someone innocent, not the perp.

I'm actually fine with not opening up a hole for an oncoming rider that saves ground. The problem is we've all seen guys move over to help friends and family, so it looks bad when you don't do it to help your brother, and even worse when you seem to steer into the path of the other guy. This is from the head on.

Getting decked in the jocks' room straightens out a lot of these problems.

I agree, of course I have been advocating them to start calling and really doing something with these silly tactics the past decade or so I have seen.

They shouldn't allow family members to ride in the same race....
as to the integrity of the sport....
Yeah ....I know, in one way or another , they are all related

Before the point of this picture Lopez tried to bully out a bit and ended up in a dangerous and overly aggressive spot. Ortiz’s response was ridiculously dangerous and as all have said looked bad for the obvious reason. Perhaps that pissed Ortiz off. Hopefully the stewards step in.
The sport is dangerous enough without adding reckless race riding to the equation.
I cringe every time I watch these dangerous jockey moves. Knowing several ex jocks who have gotten seriously injured.

if it were any other jockey besides Paco on Shazier I doubt the likes of Serling and others on here calling this “race riding” would be defending Irad so boldly. In the view posted by the poster above me and by watching the video replay; it seems clear Irad leaned his horse into Paco badly several times to prevent him getting out.
Talladega Nights was on tv yesterday. My new nickname for the Ortiz’s Cal Naughtin and Ricky Bobby “Shake and Bake”!
