I can see him declaring victory and moving on. Maybe using an excuse about needing to get back to his business.

I’m suggesting he runs and gets primaried. No way he doesn’t run IMO.

Nobody but the most ardent Trump supporter actually believed he would shut down the border. Typical doublespeak... talk tough while actively caving.

Art of the Deal...
Do people actually believe this?
He's had 10 Democrat Senators on board for $25 Billion already...

The wall won’t work
I absolutely understand the argument on the other side of the issue..
But
The wall is low hanging fruit for uninformed voters..
With every 20 ft wall there is a 22 ft ladder !!
It’s a complex issue, not as simple as building a wall

A 24 hour border shut down would cost California 20 billion dollars by some estimates. Shut it for a week and layoffs begin......in California they could really be hurt.
But I don’t think he has the balls to do it

Well JR, I think that he feels younger than you do. That being said its not logical to comment about another mans balls. If you wanted to destroy liberals this could be very painful plus the shutdown some say 80+ of those affected are liberals. Rand Paul has the Presidents ear right now and he is key to things with the Presidents plans, RBG must have been talked about on the T between them.

You have a reliable source for this?
Some of the most immediate impact would be on auto makers, who use lot of auto parts from Mexico. Where are all the auto factories in this country? Sure seems to be a lot of them in red states, especially the foreign companies that built plants here.

I meant 80 + %, but you knew that. The impact will be 5 times greater for foreign cars (VW, Mercedes, BMW etc)

I knew that, I was asking for a source for the 80% number. I would also like to see a source for the "5 times greater" number. Do you think that Ford doesn't use foreign made parts in its cars?

You say that 80% of the impact will be on liberals, and the impact on foreign car makers will be 5 times greater. The VW plant is in Tenn. Mercedes is in S.C. and Alabama. BMW is in S.C. Kia is in Georgia. Nissan is in Tenn. and Miss. Yeah, all the libs in those blue states are really in for it.

The wall is definitely a potential deterrent. Will it stop everyone? Of course not.
But it will make a serious and worthwhile impact.

Plus if by a stroke of luck laws get mean taking away incentives to come illegal it becomes a huge component. Just one component is not effective enough, more good people will have to die at the hands of illegals to have enough pressure for liberals to do what is good for our country. Just look at the recent LEO that lost his life, this is a crying shame liberals own.
