I remember him from the So Cal circuit about ten years ago.
He never seemed to have a win percentage much over 10, but he would often be in the money on the big-dollar Grade 1 stakes races.

He rode Itsallgreektome, who was second in a couple of BC races and won an Eclipse Award, for his then-father-in-law Wally Dollase.

He is a career 16% rider, and thats with some slow times the past decade or so, he had many meets over 20%. Its allright, its the internet, making shit up is common place.
He was a big money rider no doubt, 10 BC wins when he was never on dead ass chalks is a testament.

120 G1 wins! 10 So Cal riding titles when the colony was super strong.
Hall of fame rider who really excelled on the turf, always had horse for the finish, very heady rider. Anger issues as a younger rider and hyper competitive, he once tossed Ryan Barber off his mount on the gallop out. Sure he kicked Kent D. ass a few times in the jockeys room as well.
Had the pleasure of watching his career first hand from apprentice days.

I'll never forget his summer at AP whipping dead horses when there was no point in doing it. He was a no-skilled rider. I have no shame in saying it

Your opinion on horse racing related topics is not good....you should post in off topic, maybe its better there, doubt it, but it could not be any worse.

The best part about racing fans is they all think they're the most intelligent people in the room. I know what I saw and the comments I heard from trainers and owners. There's a reason he was riding at AP and a reason he wasn't part of the jockey colony after that

You stated he had not talent, that is about as unintelligent as it gets.

Every rider has their specific talents. I would never consider Nak a finesse rider, like Gutierrez or Bejarano, but just like Lezcano can bring in the late-rallying horse, or Borel in his prime was brilliant at Churchill and Gulfstream, Nak was brilliant in those BC sprints.
He never won a KY Derby......and I have never bet him to win one, either.

From memory, I was just starting to get in deeper waters when he was more active.
Don't have a 'book' or opinion on him, other than he seemed to fit right in the colony.
I do remember that he was a big favorite among horseplayers at the OTB. Would hear praise of a good ride, or tactic, or move(I want to say he had a left hand, but fuzzy memories), and players were excited to have him up on a jockey switch...

Dang.
Good for Corey, and I'm very happy for him.
One of my favorite jockeys when it came to price horses.
