Yeah....those horses are someone's pet, really. They're always the "owner-trainer"..in a 1 horse stable--because no one would hire them as a trainer, anyway. Has to be the case with HH's 0-32 maiden.

So you have 3 methods testing, concurrently?
Like..........at the same time?

I can barely keep track of 1 at a time. Good luck with that--those are interesting angles you're testing, Winger.

Especially that "New Trainer" idea--the TIPS program has a tip for that "CL2". Also, in the pp's you see that all the time "previously trained by___" and the horse wins 1st or 2nd out---A LOT.
So it'll be interesting to see how you do with that method .

Pace/Spot plays--03/09

First of all, I wanted to let you'all know about an app you can add to your browser--I use Chrome ..that is so cool. It's free, and it helps you write better. I like the spell-checker feature...it not only underlines the misspelled word--it automatically suggests the proper spelling--you just click and it corrects--I love it. Check it out:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bkghlhen?hl=en

I missed posting a super $1 lotto play yesterday (I fell asleep) --so not to upset the KARMA & SERENDIPITY of the earth's magnetic resonance--and powers that govern horse racing and the strict laws of nature we must all abide by--there will be 2 SUPER $1 LOTTO PLAYS TODAY -tomorrow we'll be back in complete alignment.

***The lotto $1 straight superfecta:TURF PARADISE~Race-4 -->> 4-7-2-1

***The lotto $1 straight superfecta:TURF PARADISE~Race-6 -->> 1-4-3-5

These are horses I've found, all with some sort of PACE ANOMALY--either led early and had the highest late pace fig--or closed late and had the high E-1 figure...or similar situation.
Usually, horses that show this potentially powerful combination--are at short odds. The following are horses I've found that are 8-1 or better--with a possibly powerful pace-situation. All are back w/in in 30 days--Trainer Win Min 10%--unless an extreme pace situation calls for relaxing that requirement:

--CHARLESTOWN

2ND SOUPER FUNNY 10-1

6TH KILMORE BOUND 15-1

--DELTA DOWNS

2ND DIAMOND CHASER 20-1

5TH SNEAKY CHOICE 20-1

--MAHONING VALLEY

7TH I'M MR RIGHT 8-1

8TH MIGHTY HUTCH 10-1

--PENN NATIONAL

3RD ATHENA IN FLIGHT 8-1

--TURF PARADISE

4TH KOZANI 10-1

6TH MAKINGFUNINTHESUN 12-1

I just record the results in a spreadsheet to keep track of them separate. I use a different tab for each method. The money tracking at the top is only for that particular method.

The new trainer angle can be off the claim, private sale, etc.

should read 5 -7-2-1

oh got ya.....I'm not a spreadsheet guy, so everything is paper and pencil, unfortunately.

Always seems like I have too much on my plate to take on learning something like spread-sheet data base--so this is my lot in life.

I only use spreadsheets to track the money. I use Quick Horse and JCapper for software.

Keep this one in the back of your mind. Before I kept records, and when I used to play any and all races, this was one I played almost every time I saw it. Seemed to win a lot, but again, I wasn't keeping records back then. It goes like this......... 2nd time new trainer, and beaten favorite in last race with previous trainer.........I watched for this for about the last 5 years Longacres was open. I'd noticed a number of favorites losing and getting claimed out of the race, then throwing a clunker for the new trainer, then 2nd start, winning for that new trainer. Now there were a lot of, what you might call, clever trainers at Longacres near the end. That first race for the new trainer may have been tossed to throw you off the scent, and then bang, next start there's just a little more juicy a price on the new acquisition.

Good Luck.

Good Luck.

That sounds like something worth looking into. Here's a variation on that
same theme:

-Horse is claimed

-Despite whatever distance, class, etc was successful in the past

-Horse is entered in completely wrong race, for the horse

-Next out back to winning dist, class level.

There are so many variations of this--but all basically the same idea--start with a sharp horse---ensure a poor performance--then a win at a price.

Sometimes, capper---I have to wonder if most bettors understand what's happening right in front of them--plain to see for any --even 1st year horseplayer.
