staying relevant to the current discussion - fail.
YOU may think taking those deals is good, but then YOU are not a billionaire, so I will defer to HIS massively successful judgement.

I'll defer to the fact I said he was going to get stomped by Pelosi when the whole thing began and... well he got stomped by Pelosi.
But you're right... Trump inherited a fortune.

I wish I had a DAD that shovelled Hundreds of millions of dollars into my account, and covered for my uncountable screw-ups.
Then I could be a BILLIONAIRE despite myself
AND be though a financial genius by the uninformed.

Tom defer's judgement to people in better financial situations then himself...
I'm more successful than Tom. He should defer.

And btw, stomped is not until the game is over - halftime at this point.
Trump was forced with a big decision - and he chose to be the adult in all of this and get people back to work. HE never went on vacation like the Dingbat did. HE was in DDC, on the job while she was slicing sand.

Doofus Drumph finally did something to diminish the HUGE MESS that has been ALL HIS from DAY ONE.
He doesn't get kudos for fixing his own mistake 35 DAYS LATE.

It is Pelosi's shutdown.
Even Schumer had to take a backseat to her.
She is scared to death of the new left wing and she will never negotiate in good faith and undermine her own position.
Trump is not responsible for this.

THE PRESIDENT: I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck, because the people of this country don’t want criminals and people that have lots of problems and drugs pouring into our country. So I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I’m not going to blame you for it. The last time you shut it down, it didn’t work. I will take the mantle of shutting down.
...
THE PRESIDENT: And I’m going to shut it down for border security.
Get off your high horse, Tom.
Your beloved Fuhrer disagrees with you.

Trump stood by his word and shut the government down, due to Pelosi's refusal to negotiate anything concerning the wall.
Trump gets credit for setting the stage for Pelosi to reveal that she is just another dense-stick obstructionist who has no intention of negotiating anything...you'll see. And, HE gets credit for reopening the government.
Pelosi is not a legitimate leader. Leaders don't fall back on "No" at any cost...a la her faux concern for the unpaid/furloughed government employees.
What in reality did Pelosi win?

Stage 2: Anger
This is some serious revisionism.
Trump overplayed a really bad hand. Poisoned the well. And weakened his coalition.
Senate Rs aren't going to the mat again with him.
