Meadowlands needs to do the same but they won't because of their deal with RTN.

So far I have watched two full cards of racing on Youtube, and I must say I am quite impressed with the product.

Gone are the days of constant buffering and repetitions of commentators dialogues like the proverbial needle stuck in one groove of a record in their previous website. What a shoddy product that was.

I have been sending out emails to the powers at be at Woodbine to go the Youtube route for a year now but with hardly a response until now. Better late than never I guess.

I have also been requesting them to install an anemometer and show the readings on screen to us fans as the wind speed and temperatures can vary a whole lot from race to race specially in winter.

I once asked a guy who used to work for WEG about this anemometer. His reply watch the flags and how hard they are flapping and try to guess wind speed. I almost fell out of my chair when I read his reply.

So far my requests have fallen on deaf ears.

It's a good deal for Harness. IMO they're definitely missing subscription options for thoroughbred replays-only. They have for example all thoroughbred tracks plus live streaming for $15 per month which is fine but if you want just race replays for a monthly they make you take on all tracks including harness for $15 so it's a wash if you only care about thoroughbred replays. Should be a monthly option for all Thoroughbred tracks replays-only for $10 or thereabouts.

That's if I'm reading the pricing right, someone correct me if I'm wrong:

Twinspires covers pretty much all of the bases for my replay needs so RTN is kind of overkill for me but I do like the interface more than Twinspires which is a bit kludgy. They also have some bugs at RTN that are annoying IMO, like clicking the back button always takes me all the way back to the first race on the card and I would rather not have a pop-out menu for the replays on each horse. Should be like the most recent 3 or 5 races are just links and then earlier ones could have a pop out menu... just my opinion, it would streamline the user experience significantly.
