Remember the good old days of F.I.G.S.? They reckoned 1 mile 70 yards as "8.32 furlongs." Perhaps the solution is to take the listed distance, add the run-up, and express the result in a decimal figure - example, Santa Anita's 1-mile dirt races would be 8.26 furlongs since the run-up for 1-mile dirt races at SA is 172 feet.

And track records? You know what Rhett Butler famously said to Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind: "Frankly, my dear ..."

I think the problem is you do not know the time of the run ups.
It would be nice to just re-calculate the times, but all you get is the time from the start of the race. This example here shows just total incompetence and disrespect for the average customers. GP is an embarrassment to the industry.

How are you adding run-up time?

Does Trakus time from start? They somehow measure distance travelled...

Unfortunately...I don't think they're incompetent at all...but THE disrespect for the regular player is absolutely correct...
