That day was rainy but it wasn't too bad in the grandstand under cover. There weren't torrential downpours or anything that I remember. Now, 2015, right before the Preakness, that was some scary chit.

yeah but for me that was the best one that I went to, iv gone since 2007. It was in the mid 90s all day then the sky got real dark and it downpoured from right before the race til shortly after the race, it was kinda cool. Took some pics of the sky before it opened up.

They have no business running races today. It's downright dangerous. On a normal day they would have cancelled.
I will bet like the riders ride and the horses run today.... VERY carefully, and with survival as the main goal

I suspect the horses will be alright but it doesn't look like the spectators can see a thing there today.

I completely agree D. We had a good time but I thought ALL races should have been off the turf.
