I'm assuming you meant to put this in the Financial Markets section.Although there are people who treat investing as a game.

I put some stock in what the article says but although China is the 2nd largest economy, on a per-person basis they rank anywhere from 70th to 81st depending on the source.Other countries in that wealth neighborhood are Brazil, Serbia ,Thailand and my beloved Dominican Republic.Essentially, China is the USA in the latter part of the 19th Century, a still mostly rural, agrarian society rapidly becoming an economic and political powerhouse.But they're still not quite there yet.
