Who doesn't like Bach!

My favorite JS Bach harpsichord work; one he actually “borrowed” from one of Antonio Vivaldi’s violin concertos. The second movement is less than three minutes:


Bach preferred the harpsichord over the piano. It’s common for musicians to play his harpsichord music on the piano, and that works, for the most part (IMO). Works such as The Well-Tempered Clavier, which is considered by some to be the greatest solo piano work. During Bach’s lifetime the piano was in its infancy and not yet perfected. Although he didn’t write music specifically for the piano, he actually sold pianos at one point, as well as organs and harpsichords. Here’s the piano version of the same 3-minute movement:


And here’s the violin version :


I like the harpsichord version the best.
