What do those nine have in common? Trump considers all of them to be his enemies. I seriously doubt if there will be any arrests for treason and sedition, but I am absolutely certain that Trump thinks such an action would be just fine.

The potential list was 16, but these we're the only one's confirmed by more than one reliable source....BTW, as far as enemies are concerned, EVERYONE on the left is at war with Trump, so your opinion means absolutely nothing...zero, zip, zilch...nada.

... and lied to Congress members under oath, have delayed in releasing requested information by their oversight committees, and leaked confidential information to the press. They also have probably broken a few laws, but time will tell how many end up in jail.

don't forget about the attack on journalist Rosen - even tapped his parents phones (but I guess that doesn't mean much if everyone's calls are kept...)

The president may have the right to revoke security clearances. (Opinions vary) No previous president has revoked a clearance without consulting first with the agency which employed the person who's clearance was being revoked. I fact, it has always been the agency itself which did the revocation. And only after a thorough investigation.
|
FYI - are you aware that Brennan is under investigation for perjury? In fact he lied to congress back in 2014, when he told congress that the CIA was not spying on members of the Senate Intel community. Later he admitted they were. Obama should have fired him but did not. He lied to Congress again when he told Congress he had not knowledge of the Steel Dossier. So, I don't know what the Admiral is taking about regarding Brennan's integrity. My guess is he's auditioning for a spot on BSMSN. The other CIA directors supporting Brennan are deep state and need to have their clearances pulled as well.

Nobody disagrees that DJT, as President of the United States, has the legal authority to revoke whatever security clearances he wishes to revoke.
The problem is that by revoking the security clearances of people who, as a result of their past experience, could possibly help the United States, DJT is exercising his authority like the petulant, childish fool that he is.
Rather than using his Presidential authority to benefit the American people, he is using it to his advance his petty desire to punish those who would dare to speak against him, even if doing that puts American interests in jeopardy.
He is being rightly criticized for misusing the power that has been entrusted to him by the American people.
Shame on him!

CIA directors are not the lone source of Intel at the CIA.

He is sending a strong message to an intelligence community that is totally out of control, like a Mafia family, exactly as UpChuck Schumer alluded to in his warning to Trump.
When they totally missed 9/11, could it be that they were too busy trying to keep W. from winning an election?
Power to Trump.
He is draining the swamp and shaking up a organization run by political hacks.
The rank and file are the ones who do the real work, not the hoity toity at the top, who do not work but play politics instead.
Good riddance to the garbage.

So you think that the following people have done nothing more than to "dare to speak against him," and that they could never be tapped for "their past experience" without retaining their security clearance? If so, you are quite naive, IMO:
John Brennan
James Comey
James Clapper
Sally Yates
Andrew McCabe
Susan Rice
Michael Hayden
Peter Strzok
Lisa Page
Bruce Ohr
