Yeah that last one was at my place of business....after new lawyers and 6 years...and depositions....my insurance paid her $25k and hubby got $100 dollars...
You can get $15k automatically basically if you sue...Insurance companies figure it's cheaper....above that....they'll normally fight tooth and nail...

Did you see that lady's burns? The coffee burned through her top layer of skin. I have to agree with the plaintiff on that one.
There is no reason to serve coffee as hot as McDonald's did.

So no personal responsibility for holding a hot cup of coffee while driving?

Bacon and cheese biscuit or a Big Mac for me. I drink a cup or two of coffee at home right when I get up, so I wash my McDonald's down with a diet Coke.

I just saw an advertisement on TV from an ambulance chaser law firm asking for any users of Roundup with active ingredient glyphosate to give them a call if they have been diagnosed with any lymphoma or leukemia. They say EHO has determined glyphosate is a probable carcinogen.

If you watch regular broadcast TV during the day here the ambulance chaser commercials run rampant. Just for the hell of it I counted them, one station had 20 of them in an hour.

Bayer bought Monsanto a couple years ago...
The groundskeeper agreed to a lowering of verdict to $78 million, down from the original $289 million. His lawyers have claimed he has less than a couple years to live, I wonder if he will be able to afford to do some things on his bucket list (or do his lawyers get 35% of the original $289 million)?
