Has been $3.05 - $3.07 around here for a week or two, but yesterday in Athens, Tx, on my way to watch the Swan MX Pro Challenge motocross races, I got it at $3.00. It is much lower in other parts of the state, $2.62 yesterday in Texas City and Pearland, near Houston. Unfortunately my MX bike runs premium gas -  .

Many places are about $2.97 here. Saw a few in Central Jersey for $2.89 to $2,91.

i paid 3.13 at a costco in boston today before i went in the store, when i came out of the place a half hour later it went down to 3.03. the only credit card they take is American Distress though.

Murphy (Walmart) pretty much controls prices around the lake here (70 miles SE of Dallas) and they have not hit $3 yet, was $3.05 last night. Has been as low as $3.02 in recent days.

i think there are state taxes, delivery charges and profit added to that number by the time they hit the pump.
i know there are always boats offshore that head here and they try to sell the stuff while they are in transit to independent dealers. its called non-contact oil. sometimes that price is different than the wholesale number in either direction.
