PBS has a program about this Malaysian Air disappearance on Nova tomorrow night.

Still amazed that nothing has been found.

You are thinking of flight 370 - search recently resumed off coast of Australia with 3 ships and dragging sonar a couple miles down. Search area has been narrowed down to 44,000 square miles.

I feel like it's been stored in a hanger somewhere. At least some identifing piece of wreckage would have been found by a passing vessel or washed up on a shoreline somewhere by now. The entire timeline with regards to the flight are highly suspicious as well.

If you recall, early discussion centered around the pilot having a flight simulator in his home. Reports were that he simulated landing on water. If so, he may have successfully done so, and therefore there would be no wreckage to find other than the plane itself. If you believe what I just wrote, then that explains most everything related to the search being unsuccessful. Talk about a needle in a haystack.

I think it ended up in ISIS's hands, along with the other 11-ish airplanes they supposedly hijacked or have gotten control of. As for the passengers, given what ISIS's has shown of themselves, they were likely killed/executed.

Seems it would require a perfect touchdown on completely calm seas to prevent at least a minimal break-up of the aircraft. In as far as having a simulator, this seemed to wear off as any kind of evidence against the pilot over time. I myself have a Boeing 737 simulator on my computer and crash-land it for fun quite often.
Another point to consider, had it been a suicide mission, why not simply nose-dive the plane at high speed?

this whole ordeal does not pass the smell test.

Isn't Australia? still looking for the craft? If so, why?

I am not a conspiracy fanatic but something is afoot and it is getting snowed over.

how do you lose something that big and regulated like the airline industry?

Something was on that plane and I would like to know what.

Damn right it smells bad. It's unfortunate that the media leap-frogs from story to story largely due to what interest people and not what's imprtant. Even the threat from ISIS has taken a backseat to such overblown bullshit as the Ebola virus.
What's disturbing is that a whole lot of really dangerous weapontry can be fitted on and inside a Boeing 777. Perhaps a plan is in order to do just that and be used against the west. If it's of a nuclear order the results could be catostophic. While central intelligence may find this possability worth following, the media would deem it as boring not an issue the general public would find interesting.
I believe finding this airplane is a lot more crucial than a remedy to a virus that so far has killed 1 person in the United States

i agree with everything you just said, but the way it looks so far, ebola seems to be a major problem that potentially could kill millions of people and animals in this world.

First of all remember that that this aircraft was manufactured by the Boeing corporation well after 9/11/ the day the whole world changed. Encrypted in its electronic system are unique identifiers that this country can pick up on when when in flight. That plane would never be permitted to enter airspace now without being shot down. The day it went missing it was not shot down because the debris field would have been collected and cataloged. It is unfortunate for all that were lost on that flight, but that flight would not have been permitted to travel to the middle east. Its secrets are trapped in its watery grave in some of the deepest ocean of this planet. Your giving knuckle heads way too much credit for being human plus intelligent enough to pull something off of that magnitude. Really what we are talking about is a band of morons who have been fighting for eons, not intelligent beings.

Fast, I am sure you are correct on several points. But,...these people have never had both oars in the water. I didn't think 9-11 or the Boston bombing would ever happen. Yep...once again, I am wrong.

Think about this. For the sake of debate, suppose that airplane did land somewhere. That is a lot of biological weapons that plane can disperse.

Nothing has floated to the surface after all this time. I am having a tough time thinking one of our subs couldn't located that plane.

let us hope I am too damn sober...
