Track is OK at the moment, apparently. Not so the announcer, who has spun out twice already en route to work.

Don't post and drive at the same time!

PB "But officer, i was only going 20 MPH over the speed limit, and as far as me not watching the road, i was posting on Pace Advantage with one hand and steering with the other, believe me, i was posting with my seatbelt on, so its all good!"

Officer: "Hmmmm, ok, as long as you were posting on PA i can let you go with a warning."

Good luck getting from Point A to Point Mountain.

Still trying to process that it is apparently dangerous for anyone to attempt to go to live racing there - including the outstanding race caller (please take care of yourself PB) - or even the casino there, and yet the show must go on. I understand why, but it is objectively nuts, right?!

which of course is rendered meaningless if they happen to pull the plug after only a couple of races. Seen it happen a lot here at Suffolk during the winter when they ran and charged for parking & admission.

Hopefully they don't run 1 race and decide to go home.

Thanks for the great work Mr. Berry. Mountaineer is one of the few tracks I listen to with the volume on and you do a terrific job.

Thanks. I'm feeling rather isolated from the real world on a night like this.
