if Trump choses to show in the next presidential debate, he will have his chance to rectify the past debate... Obama didn't have a good first debate either and he turned it around...the main problem is that the debates are scheduled for October 15 and october 29... by that time half the voters might have already voted. and because people are scared stiff that there votes will be lost in the mail now, their might be even more people than 50% that have voted by those dates..

I don’t think they have any idea how bad it’s going to be. Bad for them that is; good for the country.

Best lines of the night.
Trump to Biden. You have six people show up for your rallies.
Trump to Biden. Law enforcement is endorsing me, nobody in law enforcement is endorsing you.
Trump to Biden. How can you talk about being smart. You are not smart, you finished near the bottom of your class.
Biden's response was to look down and say nothing.

Anyone who reads the Transcript can see that Trump won the debate on "Substance."
"Style-wise" he was a "Disaster."
He gave lots of ammo for Never Trumpers to point out that he's a bully.
He probably frightened suburban housewives with his belligerence.
All in all, he probably turned off a lot of would-be supporters.

Fox News had to know that Chris Wallace could not be trusted to conduct a fair debate.
"I believe that President Trump is engaged in the most direct sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history." Also, "He has done everything he can to undercut the media, to try to de-legitimize us." ~ Chris Wallace

Hey Chris, no president has had to endure such sustained assaults from the media as Trump, they started before he was elected. They have done everything they can to attack him, de-legitimize him.

Mainly because he is a bully.
He would be out of character to be presidential during the debates.

GW Bush was close. CBS and the MSM orchestrated a conspiracy to beat him in 04
That didn't work either

He gives the media red meat when he speaks.
Every off the cuff tweet is a disaster.
Calling people names is a disaster.

Steve Scully, who will be the moderator of the next debate, was an intern for Joe Biden. How many times have people heard Democrat partisans say that there is no media bias? You can bet the Biden camp would have never allowed a Tucker Carlson to moderate any debate, for emample.

I truly feel sorry for the poor saps, the misguided members of the Trump cult. Mercifully dying in plain sight.
Looks like you guys are going down with king rat who refuses to abandon his imaginary ship.
Please snap out of it

Used to think the alternative universe of Trumplandia will dissolve when he flees to Moscow or Istanbul sometimes before the 20th January, to avoid ex-sitting president criminal indictment.
Thinking now, he will re-start "The Apprentice International " to keep busy, And his fans here will still mindlessly, tune in to his new alternate reality show, almost as though nothing has happened over the past 4 years

Those are indeed Trumps best lines of the night and they are pathetic. Biden looked down because he was embarrassed to be on the same stage.
I miss the days when a candidate’s best lines were about what he accomplished instead of bullying insults.

He more like challenged him to denounce it. Say it! Say it!
Trump defied Wallace's 'challenge.' Nothing more, nothing less. Wallace had no business confronting him like that, knowing full well how many times Trump HAS denounced White Supremacy. Let someone go at me/you like that...

I think fleeing to Moscow or Istanbul is a very real possibility. But wouldn’t it be funny if Putin said, “We can’t use you any more, you’re on your own.
