First:
Who do we have to thank for these expectations? The Cult of Trump... anyone who actually consumes information outside of the InfoWars/Tucker Carlson/Fox and Friends bubble all thought it was hilarious and hilariously stupid how low the bar was being set... ESPECIALLY because we literally just watched Biden go 1v1 with Sanders a few months ago.
Second:
He did fine. About as I expected... a bit sluggish at the onset but I think even he was shocked at how belligerent Trump was at the start.
End Result: Overwhelming Biden victory.
Third:
We have real polls showing Biden's support with Latinos is +/- a point or two of Clinton and Obama. The one you're citing is a twitter poll from Telemundo that even they called unscientific as they shared it.
Finally, no snark being directed at you as I haven’t really got any beef just pointing out what I see.
Trump and the GOP are about to get absolutely slaughtered... some of us have been saying it for awhile... but that's the reality.
We can talk about the reality of what's been happening for the past 3 years and why this is going to be the outcome but that's a different discussion.

I don't think republicans realize that many Hispanics come from countries with at least some taste of big or socialist governments (which is why they left) and most are family oriented Christians (actually many Catholics) that are unlikely to look favorably on Catholic bashing of the Supreme Court nominee and other anti God/Bible rhetoric. The Hispanic vote is there for the taking by republicans if they want it over the next 4-8 years. They already have the Cubans and a LOT of Venezuelans. |

Around minute 51 of the debate Biden says that one in a thousand African Americans have died due to Covid 19. He goes on to say, if Trump continues on the same course, that number will be one in five hundred. NOT ONE IN FIVE. One in five hundred is on the transcript and it’s on the video.
The gaffes on you-every time you put your fingers on the keyboard.

I quit watching early last night and I tried again today on YouTube, but could only get through thirtyfive minutes. But from the little that I saw I noticed something and I have a question.
I noticed that on a couple of occasions Biden seemed to be reading from the papers on his podium. Just before 29 minutes and again at about 33 minutes and 20 seconds, Biden takes good looks down at the podium and even looks to briefly follow words with his fingers.
My question is, are the debaters allowed to have material with them to help with the debates?
