Focused on Frosted and Dortmund. Won't toss American Pharoah, but hope he loses the race.
going deep under in some form TBD.
Upstart, Carpe, Pharoah, Danzig, Mubtaahij, Far Right maybe Keen Ice and Itsaknockout on some supers.

Exacta just penciled in for now...
Frosted, American Pharoah, and possibly Mubtaahij/SAME + Carpe Diem, Int'l Star, Danzig Moon, Tencendur.
I'm not a big money player so will have to limit my selections in the trifecta but would consider Dortmund, El Kabong, Bolo, and Far Right on the bottom.

El Kabong?

Dortmund!!
I am on record here after his CD win that he will be a superstar. Nothing has changed my opinion of that. All he needs is a clean race in the Derby and we finally have our Triple Crown winner. I have pounded him to win and in tris and supers ever since. I will pound him again in the Derby. Only AP could beat him with a clean trip, which I still doubt. I will back up my big win bet with a small exacta saver with AP on top just in case AP is as good as some people think.
I am praying for 4-1 on Dortmund. Then again, I pounded him at 3-5 every time he ran, so I can't complain if I only get 3-1 on him. A win is a win.

Just did a little pedigree research and found my Derby horse.
Mubtaahij was foaled on April 28th which means he and I share a birthday. If he draws post #3, my lucky number I will double the bet.
Not to worry boys as I come from a humble background and can not afford what many of you are suggesting you will be playing come Derby day. I get $200 every 2 weeks for coffee, smokes, lottery and ponies so I will not affect the odds in any way. I wish I could afford more but there are other priorities and as much as I love the sport, other things and other people come first. I will however, be just as excited if he wins as some of you who make 10 fold what I will make.

What she said. I'll go with:
Dortmund on top.
Others somewhere in the mix:
Firing Line
Frosted
Mubtaahij
Bolo
Danzig Moon

Actually have a question about the work, hopefully someone here who can answer.
So for those who didn't watch the work. Dortmund worked in company and started about 6 lengths behind his workmate. He eventually caught him went past easy and galloped out beautifully. From my novice eye the work was great. However, what I really want to know is the reason for starting him behind his partner. Does it suggest they may rate him in the Derby?? or is it just because he is so fast that by not giving the other horse a head start it wouldn't give him much to work for, maybe leave him a little disinterested in the work? I have seen horses work in company but usually with much less space between them.
