Breathing machine

In the DRF clocker reports I've twice seen a reference to a "breathing machine" that a horse was wearing during a work. Anyone have any idea what this is referring to? Have never seen or heard of such an apparatus, no video of the work available from what I could find either.

I could be wrong (which I wouldn't be surprised), but I think the term is Nebulizer.

I've a lot of horses I bet on get hooked up to ventilators, but that's usually only at the top of the stretch, not the whole race.

I have seen a few riders get a defibrilator in the post parade, thought.

Most likely it refers to dynamic or overground endoscopy whereby the horse's airway is evaluated while training rather than at rest.
