Again, E-Verify is the most reliable method to determine if a worker has fake documents. If a worker has stolen documents then E-Verify is useless. The vast majority have fake documents that are purchased and made in word of mouth locations.
They are most likely the best and most hard worker members of your crew. TJ Dave will tell you that is because they are scared and have no recourse if they get fired,.complete BS.

This is correct, the government does not care because they are getting tax dollars that are never claimed. If a legal person filed with that income they would surely get a full return. This is why I have not seen the SS Department send out any mismatch letters in approximately 10 years here in California.

Where ever there is a need a new business is developed. In this case the forging of documents has become increasingly easier for the illegals. We use E-Verify but know that the chances that it is accurate is slim.
Until you absolutely close the borders this will not change regardless of any "governmental" oversight. The majority of business owners are not the problem, the US Government not doing their job is.
