I’d say this was good news for Democrats if their most likely candidate wasn’t a bisexual atheist.

So you have that or Chemtrail Kelli. My wife and I are moving next year and Sedona is on the short list just behind NW Reno (or Tahoe adjacent as I like to tell my friends) and slightly ahead of Fort Collins.

I could actually have to choose between someone who said John McCain was conspiring to have her killed and someone who boasts of having made such bad choices they were once homeless.

Might narrow this down to Nevada and Colorado.

On the down side, nothing personal, many Californians have been moving to Colorado, and the locals complain about the state being Californicated. Especially the politics.

On the plus side, New Belgium Brewing, the maker of Fat Tire Ale and other goodies, is in Fort Collins. Yum!

Sedona is absolutely beautiful. My bride and I visited there many times when we lived in Tucson. If you do relocate or go to visit you must see Esteban. He is a classical flamenco guitarist who lives and plays there.

The Napa Valley of beer. If it were up to me alone, Fort Collins would top the list.
Love the area. Absolutely beautiful and fun downtown. My wife is worried about being 90 somewhere it snows as much as it does in the front range. I figure that’s a problem for future me and who care what that geezer thinks?

I get the Californication thing but I have to drive up real estate prices somewhere. I plan on getting new license plates right away and dissing anyone who moves in a month later as a Johnny come lately. Despite how it might appear here, I tend to fit in pretty well outside the internet.

We’ve looked and can afford Oak Creek but not Sedona itself. At least any part of Sedona we’d want to live. The view is still great and you don’t have someone in a modular home next door.

The problem with Sedona (other than any home below $1 million is in a weird neighborhood) is that a lot of services are what I consider a fair distance. The closest Home Depot is in Cottonwood. I’ve been warned that any work on the house I don’t do myself will be more expensive and take longer than I think it should.

Love the area of course. Not a big vortex or crystal guy but I still enjoy the views. You’d have to let me know where to catch the flamenco guitar. I’ll be back even if I don’t move there.

He is currently playing at Sound Bite Grille in Sedona. He is usually accompanied by his daughter. If you google him he has a website. I have also included a nice you tube of him.

Eventually you will come to view this as a plus if you do make the move.

PS - It is a nice Home Depot.

The New Democrat Party has just picked up 2 rejected republican senators, Bob Corker and Jeff Flake. I am sure there will be more to follow as the election gets closer to the horizon.

I have a timely option for you: Snowflake, AZ.

There really is such a town and it was actually founded by two Mormon pioneers named Snow and Flake. The latter was Jeff Flake's great grandfather.

From Wiki:

Quote:
Snowflake is a town in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. It was founded in 1878 by Erastus Snow and William Jordan Flake, Mormon pioneers and colonizers.[5] It has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names.[6][7] According to 2012 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 5,564.[8]

Is there a Home Depot?
