Curiosity August 6th Landing
Big day approaching for the $ 2.5 Billion Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) touchdown on Gale Crater Mars. NASA to provide extensive internet coverage and most T.V. news networks will broadcast as well. If all is successful the first low-res images should be available anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 1/2 hours.
Touchdown scheduled for Monday Aug 6th 10:31 PST.

Not good news for the reclusive TV & screen acTor, Michael J. Pollard, as he lives there in solitude, poised in anticipation with a binding contract to open the first In&Out Burger/Planet Mars franchise.

check out the "7 minutes of terror video" at that link for an overview of the landing. I wish them well but it looks awfully complicated.

A friend of mine designed the system that frees and extends the robot arm after landing. Even tho it's literally been years since he finished work on it, he's still gonna be nervous if it lands successfully and the time comes..

I can't tell if those are legal or illegal aliens.

Maybe those nekked aliens are nudist.
I guess they've got nothing to hide.

They aren't aliens, as long as they are on Mars. We're the ones with the unoccupied alien spacecraft. (Maybe they existed they should fear us!)

10:31 p.m. PDT Aug. 5 (1:31 a.m. EDT Aug. 6) From NASA site.
Some confusion because of the varing time zones and standard and daylight savings time. I've seen so many different times reported I'm getting confused.
