The "GREENS" including BO are all in favor of reducing fossil fuel useage and forcing you to Public transportation, bicycles etc. etc.

Crude oil around the $88 mark in late 2007. Avg price of gas: $2.90
Crude oil around the $88 mark in mid 2010. Avg price of gas: $2.75
Crude oil hovering in the $80-89 range for weeks now. Avg price of gas: $3.55.
It's $3.80 in western NY.
When oil took a significant tumble in early May, gas prices dropped very slowly, but then flattened. And then they actually went up again when oil made some modest gains recently.
It ain't right.

Creeping back toward the $4.00 barrier in my area. Cheapest gas is $3.75 at a couple of stations, most are at $3.79 at the self serve discounters. National chains much higher. Thought that gas prices are supposed to come down after Labor Day?
