Telecommuting is going to one day absolutely crater the NYC Real Estate market...why do companies need all of that expensive office space if they become enlightened and allow a good chunk of their workforce to ply their trade from home?

I think it's a very underestimated factor going forward.

I love working from home. I work from home about 65% of the time. My wife runs the restaurant and I do all the behind the scenes stuff.......workers comp/insurance/unemployment and a ton of other crap.

I have come to appreciate being home most of the time. in fact I just bought some nice furniture for my home office........so I can take a comfortable nap in between the latest crisis and phone calls.

I figure I will be doing this until I fall over.............on the sofa in my office..........
