Belmont: Wednesday, June 26
“Double-Double, Toil and Trouble, He’s the Master of the Triple-Double.” As I "ponder weak and weary" my Belmont Park handicapping crystal ball (witches, go away), I see an array of “double-doubles” (double numbers). I also believe that this will a “banner day” for the veteran jinete, Javier Castellano.
There’s a lot of “luchi” up for grabs. I believe the pot will be worth well over one million “GW” pictures. Change my life!!! Can I hit it? Oh, I’ll try, but I don’t have the bankroll. I’m more like a minnow than “a whale”. I can see the well-heeled among us punters putting up 5, maybe 10Gs to hit it.
I’m not gonna spend too much time on the first two races, the early double. I’m saving all “my powder” for the Pick-6 races: #s 3 through 8. I’ll be back either this evening or tomorrow with my selections. In addition to my usual “Four Tops” (not to be confused with the Motown musical group), I’ll toss in a couple extra numbers here and there if you got the kinda: “bread to spread”. As always, Good Luck!
