Then on February 17, Fauci is quoted in USA Today and elsewhere as saying the danger from COVID-19 is "just minuscule."
This is all around the same exact time period Woodward writes about in his new book.
So I'm curious why Fauci, the MEDICAL DOCTOR, gets a pass, but POTUS, the guy relying on this MEDICAL DOCTOR for info, is again, crucified by the press.
It's an interesting and fascinating scenario that plays itself out over and over again.
One day, people will wake up.
If they happen to wake up on election day, things will indeed be very interesting around here. A LOT of people are going to disappear from off-topic...AGAIN...

Find me a video of Fauci being recorded saying something to the effect of "I know it's much worse than I'm letting on, but I prefer minimizing it". I can forgive him for being wrong. See "science is hard". I can't forgive him for not correcting his mistakes. If you can produce evidence that he deliberately misled Americans, then sure, I'd agree with he deserves blame as well. This is where not viewing someone as god comes into play. Try it out...

Other types of entertainment are more fun.

(He thinks by continuing to say I think Trump is god, he can make me dance for him some more...lol)
Anyhoo...if we are to assume Fauci is smarter than Trump (and I know YOU think this), then Fauci ALSO KNEW in late January and mid-February (same time period as Woodward writes about Trump), that the virus was "worse than he (Fauci) was letting on."
I just showed you the proof of this. Do with it what you will.

You didn't. Yes, I'll agree that in late Jan and early Feb even Fauci didn't recognize how bad it would get. However, thankfully we have months March - Sept where we can see who take it seriously and who didn't. And again, I don't see Fauci being taped saying "this is deadly but we won't tell them". Even in that article he's quoted referring to what might happen if it spreads beyond where they knew it to be.
I don't suffer from being a blind fanboy to anyone, so you're not gonna get me saying "this person is so great and I'll never change my mind". Nice try again...

At the start, Nancy Pelosi, 2nd. in line for the big job, did not come out and contradict or attack Trump's assertion about the level of severity of the virus. Why not? She does for everything else. All knowing that she is, shouldn't SHE have attempted to save the public herself?
At the start, Trump had an OPINION that the China virus was PROBABLY going to be worse than what most EVERYONE else thought. There is no way that, at that time, ANYONE could have known for sure, either way. Trump chose to possibly err on the side of not panicking the public; after all, EVERYONE was 'knowing' better than he. Check the videos.
Had Trump warned the public of his OPINION, and had the virus NOT exploded as it did, Trump would most certainly be accused of being a despicable fearmonger.
As someone here said: "His entire platform is based on panic." Really? Is it? Certainly, his intention was NOT to cause a panic based on his OPINION, in this situation.
And, why did Bob Woodward sit on this so-thought explosive and possibly LIFE-SAVING information for so long, anyway? We all know why!
Keep twisting and shouting Demos. You're all a bunch of hypocrites, as is PROVEN time and time again.

He's the doctor.
Doesn't that concern you?

We have already been though this more than once. Not only did Dr Fauci recommend mitigation measures in early Mrch,...

The claim: Anthony Fauci said in 2017 Trump will "no doubt" face infectious disease outbreak during presidency
https://www.newegg.com/dell-precisio...ell-_-83995086
"There is no question that there will be a challenge to the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases," Fauci said during his "Pandemic Preparedness in the Next Administration" speech, which came shortly before Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20. He added, "the thing we're extraordinarily confident about is that we're going to see this in the next few years."
And.....
10 times Trump and his administration were warned about coronavirus
https://www.axios.com/trump-coronavi...0f4f9aa97.html
And we just found out from Trump himself (on tape), his national security advisor warned him on Jan,28.
As mentioned, the buck stops wit the so-called "president."
It was clear. A possible category 4 hurricane was approaching. Telling those in the storm's path to take necessary precautions an possibly evacuate, does not constitute causing a "panic"
It constitutes not wanting to hurt his re-election chances, shutting down the economy.

Who said anything about MARCH 2020?
We're talking JANUARY and FEBRUARY...you know...the SAME TIME PERIOD WOODWARD WRITES ABOUT TRUMP MISLEADING THE PUBLIC.
Fauci did the same thing. I have offered video and documented evidence of such.
Thoughts on that specific time period concerning Dr. Fauci?
Should Woodward write an expose about the good doctor? And how he was misleading the public and sugar coating this "massive threat," as you like to call it?
