This is an attack on media and free speech. The last time we have seen anything so political and biased against the media was when the president used the DOJ to investigate and use surveillance on James Rosen.
I hope Brennan can still go have meetings with Harry Reid and give him juicy gossip to pass along.

When Trump leaves office or is impeached, I'm pretty sure his "cleareance" will be removed immediately.
John Brennan will die an angry bitter man. That is who he is.
The only thing that has been exposed is the "supposed" top end of our (former) FBI and DOJ heads with their hate for Trump. They absolutely despise him from top to bottom across the line.
Supposedly. Our FBI and DOJ are to be without prejudice. Against anybody.
The flashlight is out there. Are you looking?

Rand Paul urges Trump to pull security clearances
"John Brennan should not get anywhere within 10,000 yards of the government...he should have a restraining order."

If they're gonna crucify people over national security (which most of time they should IMO) they should be the most harsh on the big fish.

What does he need a security clearance for to give that opinion or consult? If for some reason they need someone to read something that requires the clearance, then give it for that occasion.
I don’t see why anyone at all should keep a security clearance after they leave the job.

The current situation on the ground... that he's consulting on...
Its quite apparent from this whole thread that absolutely none of you understand how security clearances work.

I guess that Rand Paul doesn't, either, but, of course, you do.
So...what are the solid credentials that you hold that you seem to think raise you above the rest? Opinions don't count.

Gotta dig deeper than the sound bite. Rand Paul has had a hard-on for Brennan long before Trump and #MAGA were even a thing. He led the filibuster against him in 2013. His reasoning has nothing to do with limiting security clearances by people... he, like Trump, just doesn't like Brennan. Pointblankperiod.
Explanation on how security clearances work:
Just because you have a security clearance doesn't mean you have access to information... you are just allowed to see it. It falls on the person GIVING you the information not the one with the clearance.
For example; Brennan, as CIA director, would most likely have a security clearance that allowed him to view Presidential Daily Briefings. Keeping that security clearance DOES NOT MEAN he still views them. I'm 1000% positive Brennan isn't still getting PDBs.
So yes... Paul is full of shit (And I really like Rand Paul). So on to Brennan "monetizing" his security clearance. This isn't a thing btw... Brennan isn't logging into some place where people store sensitive information and using his clearance willy-nilly to read secrets.
Brennan is allowed to see stuff more sensitive than you are I. That doesn't mean he has access to it. If he does and is actively leaking it for monetary gain there are LEGITIMATE ways of addressing that.
Paul has just disliked Brennan a helluva lot longer than Trump.

Let me help you one last time to get with the program.....
Do you know what "Five Eyes" is? I don't think you do, as you wouldn't have posted what you did above.
Quoted from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes:
“Normally, intelligence passed on from a member of the “Five Eyes” alliance — Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the U.K., and the U.S. — to another member comes through an official channel for intelligence sharing.
However, Nunes, upon reviewing the document that formally launched the FBI’s investigation, said there was no intelligence shared through that official channel , meaning that the intelligence was shared through unofficial means.”
This was how Brennan was getting around his US limitations, which avoids US data collection laws. In the US, Brennan's info requests were Logged, Flagged and Recorded...Outside the US, there are No Logs, No Flags and No Records. So basically, Five eyes asked each other to spy on one another's citizens so that they can skirt their own privacy laws, which is treason, and will send Brennan to prison and possibly more....

There are ton of conspiracy threads you can post this in. Just go there.
Brennan had his clearance revoked because Trump doesn't like him saying bad things about him.
Its...
That...
Simple...
Brennan will continue to say bad things about him. His security clearance has nothing to do with any of this. Its just a petty way Trump can hit back.
