Arrow FTG?

FTG = First-time Gelding

Anyone know when they started reporting this information within the past performances? Thanks!

Been there a while, but you have to take a deeper look into it.
The date they report it happened may or not be real.
Look at the races and workout and see if a horse was gelded the day before a race.

I have had that info in HTR for a long time now, and it can mean an improved race horse. Racing, anyways.

Some people call it the "ultimate equipment change."

I want to say it was in the vicinity of two years ago that they started providing a gelding date.

If a horse has been gelded, why would he need a date?
