He got blocked. Thought about you though cuz Asmussen had 3 other horses in the race, and he was in the paddock, putting the cloth on Jersey Agenda, putting his saddle on, he even put the tongue tie on and did all the adjustments. I thought to myself why is he in there w/Jersey and not the other 3? Horse was small in comparison to some of the "big boys" in the race.

Est. attendance according to the suits I talked to was about 45,500. So needless to say it was pretty darn hard to even grab a peak at them in the paddocks. It was 5 deep in humans.

Interesting, and thanks for the observations on Asmussen in the paddock. Maybe JA is going to be a horse for the second half of the season?

Omaha Beach is a legit contender. Been running blazing workouts and just knocked off the 2YO champ. Has Buckpasser X in the pedigree.

I agree. His 110 Equibase figure going longer essentially matched his 109 in previous effort. That's a good sign even before nosing the champ. Not sold on War Front but his pending 9F test will tell us more.

Baffert said this was the one to beat before the race, based on his workouts.
