A pedestrian on the interstate?????? RIP..

If I recall, he took honors at Pid's historic first meet. Had a rep as eccentric.

Was the first thing that crossed my mind after the initial shock of the news. When I grew up in Baltimore that simply didn't happen. But here in OKC, I see it fairly regularly, people just walking alongside the interstate. I have no idea if that happens in Kentucky. I've always assumed it isn't legal anywhere.

Doesn't really matter I guess, still a tragedy, but it does make you wonder what the circumstances were.

Of course, none of it feels like it makes sense - but looking at the map - it really doesn't make sense!

Flashbacks of Marjorie Clayton Cordero for me.

I’m guessing alcohol involved.

Crossing a freeway……tough when inebriated

Was sorry to hear, especially considering he's leaving behind two young daughters.

I live in Louisville and that's a tough stretch of interstate to cross on foot, high traffic volume and 4 lanes in each direction.

Mena's agent, Tim Hanisch, did confirm that the two had been together earlier in the day and had a "couple of beers." Strange considering Sunday was Churchill's opening day for their fall meet and one would think Miguel would have a least a couple of mounts, though he wasn't listed on any from looking through the DRF pps for that card.

Nice tribute to him between races at CD. Moment of silence then played My Old KY Home.

Something similar happened to Dave Appleby Jr. when he fell off the I-75 bridge onto the highway.
