As Sherman Potter would say, “Horsepuckey”
The reforms in Build Back Better are supported by an overwhelming majority of Americans.
https://www.nationalmemo.com/new-pol...ck-better-bill
80% support giving Medicare power to negotiate drug prices.
75% support raising taxes on the rich and corporations.
82% support Medicare coverage for dental, hearing and vision.
84% support lower health insurance premiums.
77% support making child care more affordable.
72% support support creating clean energy jobs.
70% support guaranteeing paid family and medical leave.
You are the one who is out of touch.
But, don’t misunderstand me. Republicans are not the only problem. So called Centrist or moderate Democrats like Manchineel and Sinema are also a problem. As is Biden’s naive belief that Republicans will negotiate in good faith.

EXACTLY, Nancy told the press her polling shows 65% of the country supports at least 1 of the thousands of expenditures in Biden's social infrastructure TRILLIONS dollar bill they are still trying to pass.
and even more so if they don't have to pay for any of it

it hurts that a Trump-supported candidate...and a candidate that didn't disown Trump, actually won...doesn't it?

Dems don't negotiate... the call others names and have hissey fits. That is fine I'd rather they get nothing done, than to be saddled with unsustainable expansions of the nanny state.
How bout they do this, break it down... vote item for item straight up simple 5 to 10 pages per. Each element could honestly be graded and scored by the CBO. The reasonable will pass and the pork and crazy bs will perish. Many if not all Americans would support this approach. But I know niether Crazy Nancy nor F*ckit Chuck would do such a move.

They all seem so wonderful how could anyone be against them?
Are there really 16% who don't want lower health insurance premiums?
23% who oppose affordable child care? 28% who don't think clean energy jobs are a good idea?
The devil is always in the details and somebody has to pay for all of the free stuff.

So pass it then.
The Republicans literally don't even have a seat at the table.
The Democrats have all the votes they need to pass whatever they want, and yet here we are.
STFU and do something.

Just like me, you don't have a choice so we might as well be happy to pay our fair share.

How do you know what your share is? What is a "fair share" for a rich person?
