I don't like making Tom feel TOO bad. Nugent was a sort of rock hero to hm
However........

Considering how far along festival organizers were in booking Nugent, they had no choice but to pay up the $16,250 — a little more than half of Nugent’s $32,000 performance fee — to rectify the errant booking.

“That didn’t really fit what we trying to put together, a family oriented program … and I confirmed with [City Manager David Willard's] thoughts that probably wasn’t the right act,” said the city’s Mayor Jay Dean. “And I still feel that it was the right decision. It just didn’t fit with what we were trying to put together.”

Mainstream conservatism has rejected Nugent. Sounds like he will join the Tea Partiers big time soon for a better "fit"

Looks like he has matured somewhat. An older interview

http://www.salon.com/2014/03/26/ted_...ced_interview/

Ted Nugent defends South African apartheid, using the n-word in newly resurfaced interview

But in a new report, Media Matters, the left-wing media watchdog and frequent Nugent antagonist, has unearthed a 1990 Detroit Free Press interview in which Nugent opines on apartheid in South Africa, using the n-word, and why he named his tour of Japan the “Jap Whack Tour.” Amazingly, nearly every single one of these comments is even worse than his “subhuman mongrel” remark.

Ted Nugent on apartheid:

“[A]partheid isn’t that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal.”

Ted Nugent on black South Africans:

“The preponderance of South Africa is a different breed of man. I mean that with no disrespect. I say that with great respect. I love them because I’m one of them. They are still people of the earth, but they are different. They still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands. And when I kill an antelope for ‘em, their preference is the gut pile. That’s what they ****ing want to eat, the intestines. These are different people. You give ‘em toothpaste, they ****ing eat it…I hope they don’t become civilized. They’re way ahead of the game.”

Ted Nugent on using the n-word:

“I use the word ****** a lot because I hang around with a lot of ******s, and they use the word ******, and I tend to use words that communicate…I don’t mean to offend. I’m a fun guy, not a sexist or racist.”

They are pulling out all the stops and are looking for Nugent democrats, no doubt there are more of them than Reagan democrats and Goldwater democrats combined. It is all about the voting blocks to crush enlightened communists in the mid term elections. So while your snug as a bug in your Monroe rug, you can bet your bottom dollar Ted Nugent thinks more highly of the South Africans than the folks of Weinerville NY.

No dems would ever be in favor of fair taxes and responsible government.
Just not their cup of tea!

Hey Fast to paraphrase Ted, who said about the South Africans "They are still people of the earth, but they are different. They still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands." Could we say the same thing about the Tea Partiers?

No one wants to pick up this tab, the "Nugent democrats" will be the ones who show up in a low voting mid term election to not support their President's party. When the curtain is drawn to vote they will vote their wallet. I expect when the democrats get beat up mid term some might even use the word traitors. November is a long way out from now so I do not really expect you to piss yourself yet unless your just woke up in your stinky bed.

There are a few democrats that will vote a republican against their economic interest for reason of personal morality. Abortion is sometimes an issue that cause them to do that. Most democrats(but not all) while they may not agree with party on everything recognize a GOP ploy when they see one and realize they disagree with the GOP on so much that they will not vote for one. When they hear somebody call Obama a commie, they realize that voting for that somebody is not something they want to do.
Nugent is a washed up rocker who has found a niche that will still pay to hear him perform. Good for him. He isn't going to change any minds(or votes) with his music.

Fast (slow?)you really have a problem with fresh material. Your constant doom and gloom public debt hogwash is getting worn out big time. (You do realize my comparison to you repeatedly playing the same old lame tuba tune is how I described your rap previously? Or do you?) Even discussing a subject having NOTHING whatsoever to do with debt, in this case just plain old stupidity, you can not help yourself.

You babbled to me yesterday making absolutely no sense, but insulting me anyway....

'You best put a fresh depends on, more democrats think like Nugent and use similar language"

Well here is a recent photo of Ted.....

Man, I would love to see someone wrap a depends tightly around his big mouth.

I think the "Nugent Effect" will snowball right into the November elections.

Yeah, right, The "Nugent Effect" ? Is that sort of like this well known clinical test? The Nugent Score is a Gram stain scoring system for pap tests to diagnose bacterial vaginosis.

Now that you mentioned Ted......
Quote:
On Saturday, Nugent told the Forth Worth Star-Telegram that the real reason for the revocation of the offer was that Mayor Dean is racist. “I hear from reliable sources that the mayor is a racist and was offended that my band performs mostly African-American-influenced music,” he said.

...Responding to questions about the cancellation on Tuesday, Nugent claims Mayor Dean lied about the content of his concerts. “The lie that my concerts are inappropriate for any city anywhere is absurd” ”

“Those that hate me are following the Saul Alinsky playbook on how to dismantle, fundamentally transform the greatest nation and quality of life the world has ever known,” he continued.

“Those that hate me hate America, plain and simple.”

I think he has a point.
Those who holler loudest about him seem to share that trait.
Bet they hate apple pie, too.
