what's the issue with that? Hotels have 300 rooms with keyless entry. Just takes more door knobs.

U.S. Civil Rights Commissioners: Obama-Era School Leniency Policy Brings ‘Fear’ and ‘Danger’
In 2014, the Obama administration issued a Dear Colleague letter that mapped out recommendations for national public school disciplinary policies that would purportedly put an end to the “school-to-prison-pipeline” for minority students. The policy threatened schools with risk of federal investigation if they showed higher numbers of referrals to law enforcement for minority students than for other students – even if the behaviors in question were unacceptable.
And then this little gem from the Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel:
I am the sheriff who will measure the success of the agency by the young people we’re able to keep out of jail and not put in jail, while keeping our neighborhoods secure and making sure that we’re doing things the right way. We’ll end racial profiling, not curtail it, but end racial profiling. We’ll diversify the county, we’ll look differently than each other, we’ll think differently than each other, we’ll have hybrid ideas, and most importantly we’ll bring a cultural change to an agency that’s in dire need of one.

This snake glibly talks out of both sides of his mouth. On the one hand he first and foremost will measure success by not enforcing the law, while at the same time keeping the neighborhoods secure with more thugs running around in it that should have been locked up! How can the former be done not at the expense of the latter!? This is another social engineering socialist whose brain, evidently, can rarely keep up with his mouth.
I'm convinced that these 17 kids would be alive today if it weren't for Obama's social engineering schemes. Someone would have listened to all the warnings about Nunez and acted on it, instead of turning a deaf ear and a blind eye to what was obviously a very disturbed kid.

The left's mind processes are so utterly diseased and infested with brain-cell eating cancers of Marxism or socialism that they can't even appreciate genuinely wise worldly wisdom, let alone biblical wisdom. Apparently, the Left has never heard that An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
This is such wise axiom from the mind of Ben Franklin, it may well be rooted in the bible, albeit expressed differently -- something I'll check out some day. Anyway, it's all too obvious to me that the Obamas and Holders of this world never gave an ounce of thought to what the safety ramifications of the Promise Program would be on school kids.

Here's a bright lad who gets it! He's a naturalized citizen who hailed from Venezuela.
Florida school shooting hero blames sheriff, superintendent

I don't think we'll be seeing or hearing too much about him on CNN. In fact, they're probably already wishing that he was one of the fatalities.

Strictly outside entrances. And they don't need access to more than two doors.

Coral Springs Police report reveal Broward Coward Police Force: Coral Springs Police Officer Bryan Wilkins account:
"I saw approximately four Broward County Sheriff's Office vehicles parked in the west bound lane with their personal taking up exterior positions behind their vehicles," Wilkins wrote. " I drove up just west of the campus building 1200, exited my vehicle, grabbed my AR-15 rifle and donned on my tactical/medical gear. As I was advancing on foot through the chain-link fence, I was advised by an unknown BSO Deputy taking cover behind a tree " he is on the third floor".
source 'The Last Refuge'
The big question is, were they ordered to stand down.

And the BSO guy didn't even tell the CS police officer..."Hey, we've got your back."
Since there were so many BSO guys there all hiding in unison behind their vehicles far away from the action, I have to think they were indeed acting on orders from above.

Subsequently, Kyle was called out of class, told to report to the office, and questioned by the school resource officer and a Broward County Deputy over these tweets in what he described as a rude and condescending interrogation.
Quote:
Near the end of third period, my teacher got a call from the office saying I need to go down and see a Mr. Greenleaf. I didn’t know Mr. Greenleaf, but it turned out that he was an armed school resource officer. I went down and found him, and he escorted me to his office. Then a second security officer walked in and sat behind me. Both began questioning me intensely. First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude.
Then a third officer from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office walked in, and began asking me the same questions again. At that point, I asked whether I could record the interview. They said no. I asked if I had done anything wrong. Again, they answered no. I asked why I was there. One said, “Don’t get snappy with me, do you not remember what happened here a few months ago?”
They continued to question me aggressively, though they could cite nothing I had done wrong. They kept calling me “the pro-Second Amendment kid.” I was shocked and honestly, scared. It definitely felt like they were attempting to intimidate me.

Apparently the 2nd Amendment is on life support in Coward County.

I'm sure the ACLU will be all over this. The kid's civil rights were obviously infringed upon.
