if it was me, i would have kept my mouth shut, done the time and wrap it up and go home and take my shot at a comeback somehow. Cohen must have vengeance on his mind now to go for this program.

in my estimation potentially yes. i am just speculating, but if i was going to be a key witness for the government against some powerfull people i would worry about getting taken out. the other thing is if he indeed is a key witness, the government wouldn't want him discussing this case with other inmates.
they got Whitey within 5 minutes of being in the population in a maximum security facility in West Virginia, they could easy take down Cohen in a minimum or medium place.

You would have a point if this were Clinton. Those looking to spill dirt or testify against them more often than not end up buried in the dirt.
Trump doesn't have such a history....

Yep.. if Bernie or Biden had been the dem nominee, and Trump had managed to beat them as he did Hilly.. there would be no anything right now. No Russia and Mueller, no Manafort, no Flynn, no Cohen.. no nuthin.

Hillary Clinton was not supposed to lose the Nov 2016 election to Donald J. Trump.
In fact, "insurance policies" were in place JUST IN CASE a BLACK SWAN event occurred. This is FACT.
We are seeing the insurance policy claims in the form of Mueller and the stupid witch hunt of
RussianCollusion/Obstruction/OrWhateverOtherJunkTheyCanDiscoverOrConstruct
It's as simple as that.
Corruption is only as big as you're willing to dig. With Trump, they are BEYOND WILLING...and still, the insurance policy hasn't cashed out yet...maybe they thought they could get this done much more quickly, but things haven't quite worked out as they wished, and it seems Trump will most likely serve out his entire term in office.

Yup...I would essentially GUARANTEE that in any way, shape, or form that I could.
There would be no Mueller and no "Russia Investigation" had Bernie or Biden been the dem nominee.
