Plate Trial has 4 entries. They should get rid of this race, the last few years have produced small fields

I agree, I was surprised at seeing that when I was handicapping the card.

They represent pure luck..

Best way to see competence. Give everyone X amount of money, let them play any tracks they want any way they want (LIKE in the real world).

People with highest total $$$$ at the end are your winners

The people who consistently do well @ Horsetourneys & Horseplayers do very well in the high end cash tourneys(anywhere from 1k-10k buy in).

I think ReplayRandall (among others) frequents that scene.
I'll go there to try and qualify for live money seats on occasion.
Today one of the sharps (Bill Chenvert) put on a clinic.
He took down a 12k pot + 5 different major tourney seats.
His seats:
BC Challenge.
NHC.
Kentucky Downs.
Keenland.
Del Mar.
Just ridiculous.....dude is really good.
I ran second to him in the Del Mar Qualifier(5k seat).........his horse blew by my at the wire in the Woodbine final.....ouch.

So yesterday morning l’m on my Woodbine HPIBet account betting the 4th race at the Kenilworth track in South Africa. The Race is run and the exacta is paying 29-1, which I’ve got. More than 3 hours pass and I’m still not paid. I open chat with HPIBet and they explain their reason for not paying is because the Pool has not transferred. Ten minutes later they refund all bets and screw me on my exacta. This is how terrible the customer service has become at Woodbine. There is no reason they couldn’t pay the bets and sort out the Pool glitch issue offline with their vendor. It was an administrative problem which their customers were not responsible for. We should not have been held as hostages and then victimized financially for a HPIBet problem they could have fixed if they made every effort.

Just another example of racetracks that don’t care about their customers anymore.
