Imperative out, too.

Neither report sounds particularly good reading between the lines. One out for 90 days, the other with a "career decision" awaiting...

That's a shame. He was poised to have a potentially terrific year.

Had to be tough for his connections watching Gun Runner sweep the rest of the year after beating him in the PA Derby on the square. Oh what might have been a heckava rivalry..

I'm sure Paul is happy with Connect going to stud, the fact was the horse was tough to keep sound.

“I’ve said it before, but of all the very good horses I’ve been fortunate to own Connect is in another league,” said Pompa. “Of course we’re all very disappointed that he won’t be able to run again, but I’m also looking forward to the next stage of his career. Lane’s End has an exceptional record and I’m confident that the outstanding syndicate that’s been put together will give him every chance for success.”
