Cheapest seat I could find is in the Sport of Kings Theater which goes for $150

If you want to go to the Ten Palms Club the "Bar" seats go for $550
The Fountain Club has tables for $750 a seat(minimum purchase of 2 seats at a table)

Memo...they don't want you there. This is for all the pretty people to be on TV and make it out to be some glamorous event. You couldn't drag me there.

One cannot make stupid glamorous. The entire affair is strictly for the "stupid rich". Old money doesn't crave the spotlight or the shoulder rubbing. It is all embarrassing.

Wonder if they will time the race correctly?

Not even a $13 million race could give GP a hint of class.

ROTFLOL

Tom, absolutely, not. Why should they break with the usual day to day operation?

James McIngvale couldn't get Runhappy to the race, but I wouldn't count him out just yet. He probably has something under the mattress that can secure him last place and/or a 30+ length drubbing.

The guy who used to buy horses for Robert Perez in Puerto Rico and Panama for the Kentucky Derby should drop him a line.

I have no idea if this race will turn out to be a good idea or not, but it's hard to learn much based on this year. The top 2 seem so far above anyone else right now it has to be changing the thinking and math for almost everyone. That's not going to happen every year.

Well, he just bought an Argentine-bred for this very race:

What happens if for some reason California Chrome and Arrogate do not show up ? Big purse up for grabs? Roger Stein made that interesting point on his show yesterday.
