Glen Beck

One of the news channels had a clip of Glen Beck ranting about how the Occupy Wall Streeters would drag you out of your bed and kill you. From what venue did Beck issue this tirade? I thought he had been fired!

I remember last year when the Chilean miners were trapped then rescued, Chris Matthews said something like, if they were TEA partiers, they'd have killed each other in some kind of survival struggle. And he still has a job a year later! Over the top hyperbole does not belong to just one side.

What if he can run his business efficiently with just about 15 people or so? Would that please you? No? 20 people? No? 30 people? Or why don't you contact him seeking a job as a business adviser, and ask him to let you review his business model and current operation? Perhaps you could get him to employ 100 more people than he now has.

I heard S.E. Cupp the other day talking about how good it was to work for Beck, and how he picks up 100% of the healthcare costs for his employees.

A a good friend of mine has a friend (who shall remain nameless) who is actually on Beck's staff, and he loves the guy. Beck, apparently, is one of those nice, moral Mormons. Very decent guy personally...

So, according to that loony "preacher" in Texas he must be a cult member.

The preacher wasn't loony for believing that Mormonism is a cult. Historically, the Evangelical church has believed this, as I have discussed previously. The preacher was loony for making it a political issue.

I am pretty sure that Mormons are not hijacking airplanes and flying them into occupied buildings. I cannot remember the last time I was offended by the action(s) of any Mormon.

Being offended by religious sect's actions doesn't define a cult. When Christians say some sect is a cult, it's because there are fundamental theological differences between biblical Christianity and the sect's theology.
Additionally, most cults have several marks or characteristics in common that distinguish them from historical Christianity.

The elevator in Glen Beck's mind stops a few stories short of the top floor.
But he intensely believes what he says. Whether you should or not, is your choice. He offers entertainment.
