Gulfstream Park Race 4 On Jan 18

This one jumped out at me for tomorrow's card at Gulfstream.

The ages of the runners are 6,7,8,8,5,8,7,5,6,7,5,5 years old
Alternates are 7,9,5,8 years old

There are no 4 YOs, only 4 of 12 are 5 YOs, 2 of 12 are 6YOs. Half of the field are 7 or over.

I think this used to be more normal when mature horses would race on every race card, but I don't see this sort of field all that often anymore. Just thought it was worth noting.

8 of the 12 are also geldings which might have a little something to do with the age correlation.
