Camourous, I was out and about today and missed the action at Tioga ...
What did Pierce do that you thought was bad enough to be banned ?
I will check the replay later when I find the time...

From what I saw he popped out of the pocket early at Gingras only to settle back. Then he made the full commitment just before the 3q mark. Seeing Gingras wired the field and the fractions were quick, I think the two hole trip might have been a better option.

Gural is a weird person. I have met a large number of weird people in my life but he seems to be way out there.

In hindsight, yeah, but, Gingras was 20-1. So, an attempted take back and pocket pull weren't out of line, especially since the big fav was gonna be coming in the stretch, as well.
Had Pierce sat, and did pass Gingras, chances are he would've been caught from behind, by Tetrick.
It's a moot point as Pierce had no horse.

Gural will cry about wanting a casino any chance he gets. He cries about anyone who doesn't side with his philosophy either. Hence why you saw Sears and Brennan get banned from his tracks temporarily in the past.
For the drivers championship they advertised the top driver from Chester/Pocono. That should have been George Napolitano Jr. as he leads at Pocono and is 2nd at Chester to Tetrick (who was already in). George is barred from Gural's tracks so Matt Kakaley gets chosen (he is 2nd at pocono and only has 4 wins at Chester). I'm sure it was warranted to not have Nap driving but don't advertise the top guy and pick someone else.

I agree Badman....It seems as if Pierce's horse has reached his true Ability-Level.....
Hey, Pierce gave it a go, if he was as good as the connections thought, I think he would've gone a lot further....53+ half was his breaking point, I guess...
The winner has been chasing all the good stock so far, and Gingras was able to get his way today, and it was enough to hold off, who I thought was the best one in here....Racing Luck is a funny thing sometimes..
Pierce clogging up the rim didn't help the fave any either....

That is so true Titan, regarding George Nap Jr. He gets some really fired up horses in PA. Have not watched them as I have in the past but still see that Chris Oakes uses him when they are live. He has had a checkered past in this state but one thing is for certain, he loves to win races and will do anything to get to the line first.
Wonder if Luis Pena is still training in PA? Have only followed the Meadows mostly in PA. I knew he was Pokie and Chester but since I no longer subscribe to Trackmaster, I don't have access to their database.
sidebar: I still use Trackmaster pp's but via my ADW (Betamerica).
Does anyone know if Pena is still winning at 28 percentage rate or more in PA?

Two things I have to say about the Cane Pace.
First off, I was hoping for JK Endofanera to win it and then have the Burke's Partnership change their collective minds and buy in to the Jug (as JK is not eligible).
Secondly, now with the race completed and given the way the top two horses ran today, I will be betting them both in the futures pool round two provided that Takter's owners are willing to supplement to the Jug (think it is 45k)...
The only problem (at least in past years) is the lack of the LBJ people to release the final odds once the betting has closed (round one closed on Sunday) and nothing on the ADW's nor the LBJ website. They do a good job of promotion but do nothing about servicing what they promote. If anyone knows what the final of round one probables happens to be, please post here.
I might send out a tweet to the adw's. surely one of them would know.

Thank you Titan for the stats.. seems Luis is not as powerful as he once was but still winning at a decent percentage. He might have learned his lesson, at least I hope so.
