Its 30 days away...

Democrats felt the exact same way in 2010 with better metrics everywhere. It was BOMBS AWAY.

The old phrase "there's more than one way to skin a cat" is very lost on this Republican base.

There is nothing wrong with dying on your hill but not when you don't have to and you can get the same outcome with fewer casualties... that's foolish... not bold or brave.

The only measuring stick will be the mid-terms so who knows. Republicans are already going to get shellacked anyway... this puts the Senate back in play. How much... who knows... its the best roll the Republicans could ever hope to have in the midterms.

But Blasey-Ford's credible testimony justifies a REASONABLE SUSPICION that he did.
That alone is sufficient grounds to reject his Supreme Court nomination.
But his hissy-fit tirade last Friday, along with the insolent way he responded to questions puts it beyond reasonable doubt that he is not fit for the judicial seat he already has, let alone the Supreme Court.
and I hope I never have a daughter who is crazy, and makes crap up.... . ...
even if she is a senator.

Probable Cause gets someone arrested & Beyond a Reasonable Doubt gets that person convicted.

Reasonable Suspicion can be used to watch someone or ask a question or two.

There is no such legal standard as Beyond a Shadow of a Doubt.

If any of us could be charged or convicted on reasonable suspicion alone, most of us would have been sent to prison at some time during our lives.

That is too bad, I had a family member pass away from something like that.

Gee, Tom, do you think a Rethug controlled Senate could be so despicable and slimy as to not even bring that person forward for a hearing for over a year?

People are reminded of all the resistance Trump has gotten to fulfilling his promises. Promises that WE voted him into office to fulfill.

I guess we'll have to keep reminding the left that we meant it when we voted Trump into office.
Good post. I’m shocked Trump didn’t scream and preach more. I think Mitch n Grassley kept him in bounds.

That made him look Reaganesque
