Another example is NJ where only 4njbets is allowed for residents, but if you're an NY resident visiting & you go to login to xpressbet, nyra, twinspires, etc you're not going to have a problem logging in.
I don't know what's going on in Texas, but I was under the impression from the outlets I deal with that as long as you're a resident of a legal state & register from there, you shouldn't have an issue logging in wherever you may be, and I've done this without issue in a number of states & countries. TVG might be the most likely to present an issue as they do ask you to affirm what state you're in when logging in, and I think they have possibly set up location detection on their website & not just app.

Yep. I use Xpress and live in Kansas. Went to San Antonio for my grandaughter's graduation, which was happening on a Belmont Stakes weekend. I connected at his house, logged in, and played all Saturday with no problem. In fact I had a GREAT day.
I seem to remember trying to open a TVG account but they refused service to Kansas. So I just watch their channel on tv and play thru xpress (Bet1).

As a follow up, it's not wise to use your Player Rewards card at Lone Star. You swipe the card prior to your bet at machines, rack up points for rewards (meals, programs etc). The system can recall all bets made, if the IRS wanted to they could have a field day with that data
I've been told by former employees that it's not smart to use (possible IRS issues), and one then-current employee said it wouldn't be an issue for bettors.
RE: your last line... when LS opened many of us said "we live near LS but get to LA Downs as fast as we can". Texas is a great place to be....unless you bet horses

I'm looking for a service that isn't quite as zealous as the Big Three.
Any suggestions. I don't want to go offshore, but I will if I must.
Thanks,

Using a VPN, I attempted to open a NYRA Bets account. I was denied. The site said "NYRA cannot verify your location".....Most likely, ADW sites are using IP address tracking software. I had given up using off shore books years ago because it isn't right that the money wagered through those doesn't go to the pools. They are garbage.
I live in NC where it is legal to wager on racing, but only if one bets at one of the two Harrahs ( CHerokee and Murphy) casinos. On line wagering is illegal in NC.
In a little less than 3 years, this house is paid off and we are moving to Kentucky. Better weather( a little cooler) better tax structure for retirees...And Kentucky has KEENELAND......That's all I need

I am traveling, and currently in Phoenix. With Turf Paradise open for betting other tracks, I have not used my internet account to date while here. This thread made me curious as to what would happen, so I placed a bet today online in Phoenix, and it was processed normally by Xpressbet. It sounds like they might not open an account for an Arizona address, but I now know that an Xpressbet account with a non-Arizona address can bet online while in Arizona.

There ya go. My experience has been xpress works wherever you go as long as your home address isn't changed.
PS; it MAY help to use your customary (laptop or tablet) computer too. I think each computer has an id # that is traceable each login, just like an isp.
