GOP Folds Again
No surprise, Not Much Mitch caves in yet again and paves the way for easy passage of the Biden Bucks Bill. No Balls Mitch had to nothing but stand back and let the dems weaken themselves with in-fighting. No action by the repugs was needed to prevent a shutdown, but the biggest ass clown on the Hill rolled over like a scared baby and cried for Mommy.
Just wondering, who in the senate is responsible to change his diaper?
GOP = Gray Old Pussies. They make the French look tough.

60 votes is what is required to pass the bill. Repubs had blocked all dem efforts to get it done with just a 50 vote simple majority. There wouldn't be any dem "in fighting" to raise the debt ceiling, since I don't think any of them are particularly interested in playing chicken with the country defaulting for the first time in history.
How many Americans do you think have an appetite for gamesmanship and brinkmanship when it comes to stuff like this? I'm guessing not many.

Apparently, Mitchell did it after consulting with Manchin and Sinema. The only reason they would vote for the $3.5T bill is if the debt ceiling/govt shutdown was tied to the bill. So by voting to raise the debt ceiling to December, it eliminated that risk. So possibly a coordinated plan to remove an obstacle for Manchin and Sinema.
They showed Manchin sitting directly behind Schumer when Schumer was gloating against the GOP for caving. He was shaking his head apparently in disgust. Watch it. Maybe a temporary alliance is forming with those two demos. I saw Sinema get accosted again yesterday. Dems gonna Dem. I see Bernie Sanders refused to sign a letter condemning the harassment of Sinema. Anything for the good of the state, eh Bernie.

Manchin likes the attention and TV time.
He has nothing to offer the people.

The man is complex, I originally thought he will just vote with liberals in the end every time. Joseph Manchin III per Wikipedia is a very interesting fellow, very much worth the read on their site.

Every Republican candidate in 2022 running in primaries for seats in the Senate or the House must announce beforehand that they will not vote for Mitch McConnell or Kevin McCarthy for party leadership.
If they refuse to make this known, do not vote for them.

I missed that, I copy and paste from Wikipedia and enjoy reading what they have on people. As I understand it Wikipedia requires each person to submit changes for accuracy.

22 dems in house not running again (so far)
McCarthy wants speaker of house and then will kick 3 off of committees, as well as investigate Nancy for the January 6 charade....
