They did have snow/ice scheduled to arrive
God forbid they give a heads up to their customers
All they do is sit back and collect .....
They been doing this well over 20+ years....
The one thing that bugs me is that they have no intention or drive to changes things...
Big one is that they are using a 8 bit filename system instead off going to 12..
Why you say....because most of the commercial software out here has to scramble on Jan 1st each year because they cant fit in the year because of 8 bits...
So all of us has to move data files around to accumulate the up coming years data and not overwrite the old ones...
How difficult in this day and age is it to program stuff like this????

Have they ever thought of a back-up site in a warmer location?

For the record, a "bit" is not a character. Also for the record...you are an angry and bitter man. I thought I was bad.

I guess I'm in good company
anyway, they don't want to fix it even though they know the issue...

HDW is COMPLETELY DOWN.
Received a text from Ron Tiller that it is NOT an HDW issue.
Logic dictates that the problem is outside of their scope to solve.
Let all who have a process installed that will overcome inclement weather changes step forward.

I've seen them offer up contingency plans in the past....Jeff P would post about them if I recall....it's a lie to say that they never have a contingency plan or that they don't care...but that's how you roll, and that's probably why you were banned before.

See, Jeff and Dave are providing contingency (in another thread) as I posted the above.
My question is, how do Dave and Jeff have the files?

You just have a hard on for me and you just wont let go....
Contingency Plan out there...GREAT.....What is it????
Do we have to get posts all over here and on their partnering sites that files are unavailable????
If we/I knew of a plan wouldn't we be waiting for the files to be available on our sites instead of crying out here????

Go back to sleep and see if you wake up in a better mood.
