I don't care about Trumps personality. As long as he keeps chopping off heads of those I view as bad for the country, then I'll be happy. Comey protected Clinton. That's all you need to know about that.

I've stated before. His best accomplishment was stopping her from being Prez. He got Gorsuch on the Supremes and it looks like he might get one more. It's gravy time.

He's submitted a list of 40 something (age 40) conservative judges for the Federal Court system. They will hopefully serve until 70 yrs of age. That's huge! Anything else he gets from here on out is gravy compared to where we sat a year ago.

Let me explain this all to the people whom I have zero confidence will understand any of what I am about to explain.

After Comey made his announcement a week before the 2016 election that the FBI was reopening the Clinton email investigation, there were many Democrats who felt he was acting inappropriately.
Some called for his resignation or firing. But Obama did not fire him. Obama respected the independence of the FBI. I do not recall Hillary Clinton ever suggesting, requesting or demanding that James Comey be fired.

Fast forward several months to this week. Donald Trump fires James Comey and releases a so called recommendation from the Deputy AG stating that the reason for the firing was Comey's handling of the Clinton email investigation.

Everyone in the administration, including the vice president, doubled down on this. Democrats were understandably not convinced. They felt that Comey was fired because the investigation into the ties between Russia and the Trump campaign was getting too close to Trump.

Then came the Lester Holt interview in which Trump threw his own administration completely under the bus. He said in clear, plain English that he knew there was nothing to the Russia/Trump business; therefore he fired Comey to bring that investigation closer to a conclusion. Or, to put it another way, the only one who knows if Trump is innocent or guilty is Trump and no one else should be able to decide on that guilt or innocence.

That is classic obstruction of justice. As is the very act of asking the director of the FBI if he (Trump) is under investigation.

Fearless Leader thinks Trump is a two term president. I doubt that he will finish his first term.

Not before the election. Hillary was busy redecorating the White House in what passes for her mind, and dismissed Comey as one more ineffective member of the great right wing conspiracy that has hounded the Clintons since birth.
