So maybe I'm not getting it.
Is Bosch a NetFlix show (never watched it...but will put it on the list)?
Is so, doesn't Apple TV 4k have to use the NetFlix app in order to stream it?

It’s an Amazon show. Free with Prime. You use the “Amazon Prime” App to stream it.
Btw, the Apple TV remote does suck. But it’s ok. The new version was redesigned recently due to complaints

That’s because Netflix at times won’t even use all that bandwidth. I have read that they throttle down their delivery to smooth out and everybody gets roughly the same picture.

So are they improving delivery by timing ads so more resources for the movies?

I guess that’s a goal, but I don’t recall real ads.

Amazon has begun to force a video ad at the beginning of every episode unless you hit "next" at the end of an episode to jump to the next one.

OK...it's the same Amazon Prime app used on my TV and on the Nvidia box...grabbing the same show from the same "Prime" servers...
Pretty sure you don't get better quality because you're using an Apple TV 4k...you're getting the best quality Amazon can dish out AND what your device can handle...
If your device can handle 4k HDR and Dolby Atmos, then that's what you'll get, whether it's Apple TV or something else, as long as Amazon Prime app can deliver that kind of streaming experience
to your device (some shows can, some shows can't...there are more now then ever, of course).

Thanks for the tip on Billions. Started watching season 1 last night and I am hooked.

If you like character-driven shows (especially strong female characters) then I recommend Killing Eve. It's a BBC America / AMC show. It's on Hulu or you can watch it on bbcamerica.com if the show aired on your TV provider. There are three seasons so far, with S4 delayed until next year because of Covid.

How do get to all the back seasons.
Also, is there a channel line for Prime?
Can't find one....

The problem is that there is TOO MUCH.
You kind of have to use Google to search for stuff.
Also check out Sneaky Pete, and Billions.
Billions is my favorite series ever.

2 much is being nice!
Thanks, I'll try that, and Billions.
Michael Connelly is my favorite author, "Bosch" caught my eye.
