Don't know if you are aware of this about SRV:

The day before his death, Vaughan told his band and crew members about a nightmare that he had in which he was at his own funeral and saw thousands of mourners. He felt "terrified, yet almost peaceful."

I picked my two favorite performers to sing my favorite song.....
Dolly Parton and Whiney Houston.

Dolly tells the history of the song before her performance.

Whitney was amazing.

Drugs and all kinds of other things took her away far too early. Amazing voice. Maybe the best ever.

The world would be a much better place if we all had the heart of Dolly Parton.

it is better to think of these entertainers as they once were, like how I posted renditions of Aretha's songs when she was at her pinnacle of her career.

I'm an old-school romantic...

When driving my 'vette with the top off on a warm summer night:

Love going out with the girls for a night of dancing:

And then, there's the most versatile, the most alluring, the greatest rock performer of all time...Freddie Mercury of Queen. Too many amazing songs and performances to pick just one:

The riff is timeless. Plants voice will never be replaced.

Led Zeppelin IV was made in 1971. Nearly 50 years ago. And still incredible.
